There are a few different ways to uninstall apps on a PlayStation 4. For example, you can uninstall a game and then reinstall it using the Playstation Store. However, if you want to reinstall downloadable content, you’ll need to know how to uninstall add-ons first.
How to delete games
The PS4 offers users a wide range of options when it comes to managing the games and apps they have installed. Users can easily uninstall games by selecting the option in the library, and then selecting “Delete.” The process is simple, and users don’t even have to remove the disc from their console to do so.
The first thing you need to do is to locate the game you want to delete. Scroll down to the game and hit the option button. The option button will bring you to the option screen, where you can select the game you want to delete. Hit the option button to proceed to the next step.
Once you’ve chosen the game you want to delete, you can access the system storage menu to find the space it takes up. There, you’ll find the game’s file size.

If you want to free up space on your PS4, you can delete apps and games. This process is simple and won’t take more than a few minutes. First, go to the PlayStation home screen. Next, press the Choice button on your controller. You will see your library. Select any app you don’t want to keep.
To delete a game, scroll down and press the option button. I’m showing you the option button right here so you can see what I’m talking about. It will take you to a page where you can delete the game. Now, you’ll have a lot less storage space on your PS4.
If you want to remove a game, you can do so from the system’s home screen. To do this, you must log in to your profile, then scroll down through the home screen to find the game you want to delete. Select it and press the Options button on your controller. A warning screen will appear, but choose OK to remove the game from your system.
How to delete add-ons
To delete add-ons from your PlayStation 4, you will first need to sign into your PlayStation account. Then, find the library icon (like a bookshelf) in your PlayStation 4’s system tray. Once you’ve located the library, select the blue “X” button to delete the add-on. The library will then show a list of all the games that are installed on your PS4. Now, select the games that have add-ons and press the X button to remove them.
Another method is to go into the PlayStation store and delete the add-ons that you don’t want. This method works for games like Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 5. Once there, find the “Manage Game” menu and click “X” to delete it.
Next, navigate through the list of games. To select one game, press the left thumbstick or D-pad to navigate through the list. Then, press the Options button (right of touchpad). This will open up a menu on the right. From here, you’ll need to insert the game disc. The process may take a while, so be patient.
How to delete downloadable content
There are several ways to delete downloadable content on your PlayStation 4. Firstly, you can open the system storage menu to see how much space is currently being occupied by your games. You can then select the games that you want to delete. After selecting them, you will need to confirm the deletion. Then, the games will be removed from the system storage and the extended storage.
Secondly, you can also delete the individual game you downloaded. You can do this by selecting the game in the games menu bar. Alternatively, you can choose to remove all downloadable content from your PS4. By selecting “Delete” from the games menu bar, you can delete the entire game and all its add-ons.
Once you have done that, you can then go to the system settings menu and click on storage management. Alternatively, you can also press the Options button on the controller. Ensure that you have an active PlayStation Plus subscription before proceeding.
