If you’ve uninstalled an app, it is possible to remove it from your phone’s purchased list. However, some preinstalled applications cannot be removed. You can test whether you can delete an app by shaking the phone, and if it wobbles, you will see a minus sign in its corner.
Delete uninstalled apps

Despite Apple’s inability to provide a solution for deleting purchased apps, this method will allow you to regain space on your iPhone or iPad. Unlike purchased apps, these apps don’t limit your iCloud storage space, since they are stored on the store’s servers. By deleting the app data, you can free up some space on your device and iCloud, allowing your iPhone to run faster.
Delete uninstalled apps from purchase history
If you don’t want to remember what apps you bought in the past, it is possible to delete uninstalled apps from your purchase history on your iPhone. However, it’s important to note that this will not delete the free apps that you’ve downloaded. Those free apps are tied to your Apple ID, so deleting them will not delete them from your purchase history.
To delete an app from your purchase history, first open the App Store and log into your account. After logging in, swipe your finger to the left and right over an app that you’ve bought. Then, swipe your finger from right to left over the app to reveal the Hide button.
After the app has been hidden, it will no longer show up in your purchase history. However, if you’ve purchased it from a family member’s iPhone, the app will no longer be in their purchase history. To uninstall an app, swipe from right to left. When you do this, a red “hide” button will appear on the app, which will hide it from your purchase history. Once you’ve hidden an app, you won’t be able to unhide it, which means you can’t re-download it from the App Store.
Another way to remove uninstalled apps from your iPhone purchase history is to use the iCloud service. The iCloud service stores app data, as well as allows you to control subscriptions and access family-sharing options. Using iCloud is convenient, but it requires additional steps.
